Hi! I'm Tamina, a 25-year-old French/English student. I've been in and out of the women's NGO sector for 7 years, and love the sense of community within organisations for good. I'm motivated to keep learning about how grassroots work and complement the great work being done within communities, especially for the environment, women, and animals. I'm an active person, am super social, and a huge foodie! I've travelled a lot, and am curious to mix discovering the world with some hands-on experiences and local connections.

I've been working in women's charities for 7 years: administering high-risk safeguarding, coordinating community meetings, being a support worker and advocate for women in refuge, writing grants/bids and participating in organisational development.
I've also worked as a tutor of languages and literature/writing, and as a waitress.
Broader skills include:
- Natively bilingual in French/English
- good level in Spanish

- writing skills (degree in literature + 2 years' grant/bid writing experience)

I'm guilty of being interested and enjoying lots of things! I am extremely social, and a great hobby of mine is spending time with people, talking, laughing, and sharing stories.
I'm also a big foodie: I love cooking, but am especially known for my baked goods. My "signature bakes" are white chocolate/raspberry blondies, chocolate almond cake, and carrot cake. I'm also extremely curious to try any new food!
I'm a big reader and theatre-goer, and studied literature at undergraduate level.
I'm a sporty person, I hike, run, and play badminton - which are also a fun way of socialising.
I'm extremely curious to learn and interested in listening to people's experiences too.
