Hello! My name is Tom and I am a languages teacher based in Hampshire, UK. I have had many amazing Workaway experiences in the past, but my current focus is spending time in Spain to improve my Spanish. I have recently qualified as a French teacher and I would like to improve my Spanish to be able to teach Spanish as well. I am a friendly, easy-going person with a diverse set of interests - I am just as happy being out in nature as at home with a book or film. I am always interested in trying new things and discovering new places and cultures with new people.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a qualified teachers, and so my main strength is teaching English. Other than languages, no specific skills, but quick to learn! Past workaways have included: building work, gardening, cleaning, cooking, waitressing and preparing guest bedrooms.i have also spent 9 months as an au pair with a family of three children in Paris which was an amazing experience!

I am looking to spend the summer with someone/a group of people who can help me with my Spanish. I do not mind what type of work I do, as long as my hosts are willing to teach me. I enjoy cooking - I would be pleased share my favourite recipes with you, and I can also help with cleaning. I've had some great experiences with Workaway, meeting lots of new people and learning new skills, and I look forward to my next!
