Hi, we are an german couple, who are looking to travel, meet new people, explore new places and gain new experiences.

We are super new to workaway and looking forward to meeting new people. We love the idea of cultural exchange, meeting new people and cultures while working on wonderful projects and contributing to making the world a better place.

We would describe ourself as open minded, helpful, happy, responsible and communicative persons.

We always give our bests and we are ready to do the same as Workawayers. We look forward to working for and with different communities around the world!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Hello, I'm Sylvie and I'm really excited to be here at Workaway.
I come from Germany and grew up in a large family with many siblings. During my studies in educational sciences and adult education, I traveled a lot and was very grateful to be able to get to know so many nice people. I work as a learning therapist and lead a refugee project in Ludwigsburg. My parents have a large garden and I love helping out there with the harvest and watering. It's just so nice to be in nature and to be able to help there. It's just as fun for me to be able to cook with the great fruits and vegetables from nature. I am also happy to lend a hand if help is needed, be it in the household for a renovation or something else. Through my work as a learning therapist with children, I have also learned to see the world through children's eyes. I love children and their imagination. I hope we can get to know each other soon. My name is Florian. I work as a primary school teacher in Germany. I love to work with children and support them in their learning process.

Due to the family gardens, I have helped with gardening from a very young age (e.g. harvesting, planting, taking care of plants, mowing, ...). Gardening gives me great pleasure and satisfaction. In addition, I have already done various small construction projects, renovation work as well as helped out in the family bakery.

I (Sylvie) wanted to tell you something about my hobbies. Besides travelling, I like to ride my bike and longboard, I like to go for walks in nature and I love to do handicrafts and paint with my niece :). I also enjoy board games. I'm always up for a game :). Florian as well.
