Hi there! I am currently a language teacher (English and Spanish) for French people. I live in the Dax area in France where I have a big vegetable permacultural garden. Producing fruits and vegetables, as well as organic cosmetics, herbal teas, jams and many other things is one of my hobbies. I sell my products onsite as well as in local organic food stores. Teaching gardening according to permaculture principles is one of the ways in which I contribute to help people connect to Mother Earth. I am fond of all animals and all kinds of life forms, but I have a weak spot for dogs. The dog on the picture, however, is NOT mine, so I don't travel with pets.

Staying at Michelle's was great. She's very caring and communication was easy from the beginning. She gives you a list of chores easy to do, such as sweeping, watering plants or cleaning cupboards and you can choose when to do them. Susana came to stay for just over a week. She is extremely friendly, easygoing, kind, knowledgable, supportive, resourceful, neat and tidy, respectful and fitted into my home very well.

It was great to stay at Martine's. Her house is big and the garden even more, but the work is pleasant and fun to do. Martine is a great host and she introduced me to her friends. The room and the food were also very good. I highly recommend stopping at her place and I hope to be back soon.

Rester chez Thomas c'était une très bonne experience. Il est très respectueux et soucieux de faire en sorte que les workawayers aient une bonne expérience. Le travail est flexible. Nous lui avons aidé à faire des buttes et à ranger son jardin. Je me suis sentie très à l'aise et je recommande rester chez lui. Merci pour ton accueil Thomas.

Susana was a huge help in this project! She stayed for a week and we redecorated my kitchen. But more than this she was an incredibly positive influence, a fund of good ideas and inspiration. She is a wise soul and I am sure she would be an asset to any project. Most highly recommended :)
