Description

Hi! I'm Sulli. I got into this program because I love to learn and expand my own view of the world in many different contexts. That's what motivated me to go through two years of college and more in the future, but now I feel like its time for me to explore the world in a different way. The thrill of travel has taken me all over the United States and Canada, but there is still so much more to see and so many different cultures to learn from. I want to travel safely and cheaply and in a way that allows me to meet some amazing people and help out on projects that I'm captivated by. I love making art, living and working outdoors and socializing with all different kinds of people. I hope to learn a lot from my experiences through workaway and have a great time while doing it!

Part of the reason I looked into Work Away is because I've always wanted to become fluent in more than one language. I have taken 7 years of Spanish in my schooling, but the classes weren't challenging enough and I plateaued. I really want to move past the point that I got to and become fluent in Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I love working outdoors in many different ways. I have experience in trail maintenance and trail building. I've also done a decent amount of landscaping, hardscaping and gardening. This summer I've been learning carpentry on a build crew with the Conservation Corps. Just about all of my work experience has been outdoors, but that does not mean I'm opposed to indoor work. I love cooking and contributing where I can, and I like to think that I'm a fast learner.

I love making art, reading, climbing, swimming, cliff jumping, sports, biking, backpacking, hiking, skateboarding, snowboarding, and I really want to learn how to surf. I'm always looking to try new things, but I am also able to be content just hanging out, talking, playing board games, or watching tv shows. I also really want to learn an instrument.
