Hi! Im a 30 year old taking a few months to travel Southeast Asia. I have travelled most of Europe and the states and am looking forward to exploring a new countries. I spent a year after high school volunteering around the United States and love combining travel with being with the locals and immersing myself in the culture. It's important for me to learn about the places I travel to to better understand the communities and contribute in any way I can. I love to snorkel, swim, hike, and anything outdoors and adventurous. I look forward to getting scuba certified while I'm in SEA and getting to experience all the beautiful marine life and nature it has to offer!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated with a bachelors degree from UMASS Boston- majoring in criminal justice and minoring in psychology. The year after high school I spent a year volunteering with AmeriCorps- FEMA specifically where I specialized in being a disaster survivor assistance. I assisted communities in four states in disaster preparedness, recovery, and any other needs following natural disasters. I absolutely love all animals and have years of experience caring for dogs specifically but cats and some farm animals. I have 12 years of experience in the service industry, working in various bars, restaurants, and catering events where I have been roles ranging from bartender, waitress and manager. These years in service have greatly developed my skills in customer service, teamwork, leadership and time management. I grew up in the states but am originally from Germany and am almost completely fluent. I have travelled most of Europe with ease and had a wonderful time and look forward to taking my travel and personal skills to Asia!

In my free time I enjoy crocheting and have made everything from blankets, stuffed toys, and clothes. I recently won first place in the fair with my giant crocheted Winnie the Pooh! I love to rollerblade and swim and swim and look forward to getting scuba certified through my travels. I love anything active and have been practicing yoga for the past years and hope to practice while traveling Asia in the coming months.
