Hi! I am Sophia, 19 years old, and before (and hopefully after) starting university in October I want to see more of he world, meet inspiring people and collect experiences that stay with me.

I grew up in a relatively small town surrounded by nature, which probalply explains why I feel happiest outdoor, especially during sunrise hikes in the mountains. At the same time, I also enjoy the energy of cities and discovering places that feel completley different from home.

I would describe myself as open-minded, creative and very energetic. I can be a little introverted at first, but once I feel comfortable I really enjoy connecting with others and sharing experiences together.
I would like to add that I am always up for a new adventure, like a spontaneous trip to sweden, which turned out to be one of my favourite experiences so far.

In my free time I really enjoy cooking with my friends, painting and playing my guitar. I also find joy in about any type of sports, especially kickboxing and jogging. I also want to improve my Spanish, which is mostly made out of enthusiasm and beginner vocabulary so far but I am working on it.

My motivations on this journey are about personal growth, meaningful memories and meeting people I would never meet otherwise. I hope to gain more confidence and learn more about the culture in different parts of the world. I am really looking forward to this exciting new chapter :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been working with children at my local sports club for about 4 years now, which has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility and staying calm even in chaotic siuations. I genuently enjoy being around kids and helping where needed.
I also worked in the accounting departement of a small company, so I aquired some skills on the computer.

Since I grew up in a more rural area, I am also used to practical and hands-on work, altough I need instructions for most tasks. I am however comfortable helping with physical tasks and carrying heavier things, and general manual work.

My mother taught me how to cook at about 10 years old, so I have collected some experiences there
aswell.
