Hi, I’m Sophie - 19 years old and from Germany :)
I’ve just finished school and I’m now excited to take a year to work and travel abroad before starting to study physiotherapy or osteopathy. I’m speaking German, English and French.
I’m a certified skiing and climbing instructor and soon I’ll be qualified as a yoga instructor as well. I’m passionate about sports - especially climbing, tennis and activities in the mountains/in nature like skiing, snowboarding or hiking - and I also love doing yoga and spending time with my friends, family and our family’s dog :). Beyond sports, I’ve been playing the piano for the last 10 years and I enjoy almost every kind of music!
I’m also committed to environmental protection. I’ve organized and participated in clean-up projects, joined events and supported initiatives that focus on safeguarding the Alps, water resources and forests.
Working with kids is another big part of my life - I love motivating them to move and stay active and I have plenty of experience as I mostly teach kids in climbing and skiing.
To my person: I thrive on exploring new countries, meeting new people, trying out new sports and learning from different cultures and ways of thinking. I’m open to new ideas and perspectives, love traveling around and enjoy working in different places! I’ve been working since I was 13 (in addition to school), and I’m organized, reliable, confident, motivated, easygoing and I get along with most people.
I’m really looking forward to contributing to your team, meeting you and learning from you!

I had a great time with Anthea and Simon! They’re really kind hosts, the work is definitely doable (I planted some trees, did some weeding and cleaned up an old caravan) and the little cabin had everything I needed :)!
The place is also perfect for bushwalks down to the sea or cycling into town, where there are some lovely pubs and bars to go out … read more
