Hi I'm Simone, I'm a 29 year old Italian guy and I've been living in the UK for almost 10 years. I'm always looking for adventure, which leads me to spend most of my money on travels. This year is a bit special though because I turn 30. I want to gift myself a life experience and try a different way of travelling, which is why I subscribed to workaway. I have a good work ethic and a curious mind, so I think that workaway is the right place for me to find my next adventure.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been a bartender and waiter for most of my working life, which has been in the UK. This has allowed me to become a fluent English speaker as my second language. My first language is Italian, and I would be happy to teach/communicate with others in either language.
I'm used to working long hours in a fast paced and high pressure environment, which is something that I built up during my career behind busy bars. I'm also a pretty good swimmer (I have a licence as a life guard) and a pretty fit guy who is always ready for manual jobs and able to lift heavy things. I have limited experience in building or anything related to it, but I'm very willing to learn because this is a career path that I'm interesting in pursuing.

I grew up around dogs with my dad being a dog breeder, so I acquired knowledge and passion for dogs and dog care. I'm into fitness and I have a good knowledge about weight lifting and boxing, knowledge that I would be very happy to share.
Being an Italian bartender I'm into cooking and making drinks like cocktails, this could be something else that I would be very happy to share and teach as it is an important part of my culture.
