Hello, and nice to meet you!
I'm Silvia, a 32 yo Italian girl who has been living in Barcelona (Spain) for about 5 years.
A few months ago, I left my office job, which didn't suit me and didn't give me any personal satisfaction, so that I could travel more freely (not just a couple of weeks a year) and get to know new cultures and beautiful people.
Since I was in my twenties, I have always traveled whenever possible and have always enjoyed traveling alone. I have been to most of Europe, Asia, and Africa (I recently returned from a month long trip to Japan). However, in addition to my passion for travel, I would like to find experiences where I can personally contribute something and get to know the local people more deeply. That's why I think Workaway is the right choice for me!

I am someone who adapts very easily to situations and I have worked for several years in contact with the public. I can say that I am quite good at anything that involves interpersonal relationships.
In various volunteer situations, I have also often worked with children, both in recreational and educational contexts, so I believe I have patience and a predisposition for activities with young children.
