Description

We are two ordinary office workers who are taking a year off from the 9-5 to gather impressions from different places, meet people from diverse backgrounds, experience changing daily routines and overall rethink our own goals in life. Concrete plans are ever-changing, but our trip for sure includes week-long roadtrips, hiking, working on farms for shelter/food and settling down for longer periods to more regularly pursue some old/new hobbies.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We were both office workers that worked a lot with computers and digital technologies :) but we also do lots of sport so we are fit for physical work like farming. In Taiwan (Nantou) we worked for 2 weeks in an organic tea and coffee farm, which was such a special and fulfilling experience. Shiwen speaks fluent Chinese and English, basic German and Dutch. Jannes is fluent in German English and Chinese, now learning Spanish. Shiwen loves dancing and painting, and she also painted voluntarily for a stray animal shelter in China that then sells her artworks to gather more funds to save more homeless animals.
