Description
My name is Seraina and I'm a curious, mindful and quiet person who loves to learn. I’ve spent 6 months as a workawayer in France, Germany, Czech Republic, the UK and Switzerland and it was a wonderful experience. Now, whenever I find time between jobs or other projects, I continue to travel with the purpose of getting inspired and helping other people. I just like to share and to be filled with wonder.
It takes time for me to open up, but once the ice is broken I really enjoy being with others. I love music, nature, dancing, playing the piano, swimming, meeting friends...
I was an Aupair in Geneva and studied at the professional school of economics and have worked in administration and social pedagogy.
I'm a reliable worker and I always try my best. I prefer working at my own pace, mindfully and enjoying. I like knowing that what I'm doing is making a little difference and that I'm helping someone.
Meeting new people and finding my own way of happiness, that’s what workaway is about to me – so I’m really looking forward to the next experiences :)

Seraina est une fille formidable. Elle est extrêmement sympathique et travailleuse. On a vraiment passant un moment fabuleux pendant son sejoursr j espère que nous la reverrons bientôt.

C'est une famille supersympa, dynamique et plein d'humour! Tout était top: les repas, la localité (on est à 5min à vélo du centre-ville), l'équilibre entre le travail/participer à leur quotidien et le temps libre. Excellent! Carole et Didier sont des hôtes sympathiques, cosmopolites et généreux.
Mon travail était surtout d'assister à Carole dans sa jolie boutique à Évian: faire des découpages, mise à jour du site facebook, nettoyer et changer la vitrine. Je pouvais choisir de l'accompagner soit le matin soit l'après-midi, ce qui était très agréable!

Seraina came to us, with her sister, for a week in May. We usually ask for a minimum of 2 weeks but we are very glad we made an exception for Seraina & Eliane!

Amanda and Gary are very generous. They were as kind as to host us even for a short week during which we learned and saw a lot more of England than we had anticipated.

Sabine and Manfred are very kind hosts! They always cared about the workawayers even in busy times, they were very patient and they treat their animals with love. The 10 days I spent here were amazing!! Anbu and Alice are very welcoming, easygoing and open-minded and their kids are adorable. Seraina est venue s'occuper du jardin pendant 2 semaines.
Très calme, de bon contact et efficace, elle a débroussaillé courageusement ! Un excellent contact aussi avec les enfants. Nous avons passé de bons moments ensemble.

Luise and her family are very welcoming and I felt comfortable immediately. The work to do is very fair and I enjoyed the delicious meals, the movie evenings and the discussions! The area of Stein am Rhein is so beautiful, especially the village and the river.

Eliane et Seraina ont été deux charmantes fées, d'une gentillesse et d'une efficacité étonnantes: vous leur demandez de dégager un tronc d'olivier du lierre qui l'envahit, quand vous revenez les voir, elles en sont au cinquième! et ce sont des oliviers plusieurs fois centenaires et d'énormes lierres...et les deux soeurs magiques sont toujours… read more

Brigitte et Roland ont un coeur grand comme l'océan. Nous avons tellement apprécié notre séjour chez eux, qui était trop court. Notre première expérience workaway n'aurait pas pu étre meilleur! On s'est senti très à l'aise. C'était inoubliable. Merci pour tout!
