Description
Hi, my name is Sebastian, I am 27 years old and was born in Houston, Texas, in the USA. When I was 3, my family moved to Weimar, where I grew up until I moved to Leipzig in 2017. I completed my teacher training in English and Physical Education this summer and will start my teaching traineeship at a school in Leipzig in February. Until then, I would like to spend some time abroad. Since I spent wonderful vacations in Italy as a child, it has always been a little dream of mine to live there for a while. During my studies, I took an A1/A2 Italian course and practice regularly on Duolingo, but my language skills are still very limited.
I am a very social person and love spending my free time with friends, for example at concerts, playing board games, or in the summer at Leipzig's beautiful lakes. I am also enthusiastic about all kinds of sports, from volleyball and soccer to jogging and fitness training.
During my time at university, I have already worked in various professions, such as lifeguard, cashier, English teacher, and sports instructor.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have already gained work experience in a wide variety of professional fields. Before I started my studies, I spent six months in New Zealand, where I worked in a vineyard, among other things. During my school and university years, I also worked as a cashier in a grocery store and at an outdoor swimming pool. At the latter, I was also employed as a lifeguard for the last two summers.
As part of my teacher training program, I have also completed various internships at high schools, where I was additionally employed as an English tutor and teacher of a sports activity group. So I mainly have experience working with older children and teenagers (ages 10 to 18), although I also led an introductory English course for children in grades 1 and 2 (ages 6 to 8) for two years.
