German by passport, Kiwi by choice. While New Zealand is my home base, I’ve currently outsourced my “nest” to the rest of the world because traveling is too good to resist.

I strongly believe in manifesting and trust that the universe always delivers when met with genuine appreciation. Meeting people and discovering new cultures and cuisines is truly one of my favorite things in life.

No Workaway experience yet, though I do volunteer in New Zealand with Forest & Bird, trying to keep plants and wildlife alive despite humans’ best efforts.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I speak German, English, and I’m currently on a 100+ day Duolingo streak for Spanish—which mostly means I can apologise badly and ask where the supermarket is 😅

My background is in finance and project management, with the past seven years dedicated to the non-profit sector. Alongside that, I’ve gained experience as an au pair, nanny, and spent four years working in a foster care facility.

What really grounds me, though, is being outdoors. I love gardening, growing my own fruit and vegetables, and finding ways to live more sustainably. Whether it’s working with the land, protecting nature, or simply spending time outside, I always feel happiest when connected to the environment.

Recently, I’ve also worked as event and expo staff, which added a fun, social balance to my more nature-focused passions.

I’m an active and bubbly person, but I also appreciate slowing down and relaxing when the moment calls for it.

I feel a special connection to the water—whether I’m sailing or diving, it always leaves me feeling deeply content and happy.

I also love hiking, exploring mountains, biking, swimming, and dancing, so I’m happiest when exploring, and enjoying life to the fullest.
