Description

Hi, I am Niklas from Germany. Friends describe me as lively, honest and curious. I love being in nature, cooking, music, good conversations and hands on projects. I also enjoy activities and a bit of adrenaline sometimes, but it is never a must.

Traveling for me is about cultural exchange, especially through food, learning practical skills, and personal growth. I connect best in smaller groups where you can really get to know each other. I value sustainability, mindfulness, respect and honesty. I am especially interested in eco projects, farms, communities, retreat centers, hostels and building projects.

For two years I ran my own small “Mosterei” (a juice and cider pressing business). That experience taught me how to work responsibly with people and tasks, including customer contact, building and maintaining a website, and leading a small team. On top of that, I have practical IT skills such as Excel, programming basics, hardware and networking, and I enjoy learning new things quickly.

I have experienced cultural exchange by living with a host family in Brazil and traveling with a group. My English is a bit rusty at the moment, but I feel confident communicating and I improve fast when I use it daily. Now I am excited for my first Workaway experience and to contribute with a positive and grounded energy.

Autres infos...

I want to mention that I have a visual impairment and I am not allowed to drive a car. In everyday life it affects me very little and most people do not notice it unless I tell them. I am fully independent and happy to help with all tasks that do not require driving.
