About me
Hi, I’m Julia, 30, from Germany/Switzerland. People often describe me as warm-hearted, reliable and curious. I love connecting with nature, people and animals. My big passions are herbs, gardening and sustainable living. I studied Molecular Biotechnology in Munich, so I bring both a scientific background in biology and a hands-on love for the natural world. I also serve as a firefighter in my company’s professional fire brigade – which taught me teamwork, responsibility and staying calm in challenging situations. I enjoy hiking, being outdoors and I’m physically fit and not afraid of hard work.

Why I want to travel
Ten years ago I spent some time in New Zealand – and I left a piece of my heart here. Coming back now feels like a dream. I’m also a big Lord of the Rings fan (yes, I even carry two tattoos as proof 😅). On this journey, I hope to learn more about permaculture, gardening and medicinal plants, and also to deepen my understanding of Māori culture.
