Hey there,

my name is Sara, I’m 24 years old and from Germany. I just finished my studies and I’m a social worker now. But after 4 years of studying I want to take a break before I get into work.
I’m a creative, friendly, loving human being who likes to spend time with others. I enjoy the beauty of the nature and I’m always open minded. I like to get things done with my own hands and to learn skills I never knew I could have. Adventures are always on my to do list and being around other people my favorite way to spend my free time.

I’m looking forward to a special time with special people to celebrate life together. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I like to be surrounded by people, which is why I’m studying social work. Before I started my studies, I looked after two little sweet girls in California, as an Au Pair. I like spending time with children, but I want to focus on other topics during my stay as a workawayer. I grew up on a farm with lots of animals, space and time to enjoy my childhood. I was always in contact with farming or taking care of animals. On our farm we were around 13 family members living next door, so I always had the pleasure, to be surrounded by family, but also had to learn, how to find time for my own and separate from others.

We also had a nice wood workshop where I used to build stuff with my dad. Like little beds for my stuffed animals or just recently we built a couch made from pallets.
In general, I mostly enjoy creating things. I like to knit, sew or crochet but also stuff like jewelry making, working with wood or gardening. I would like to learn more about farming, since my grandfather did all the work at our farm.

In Leipzig I try to life a more alternative lifestyle than in my home town, which are the Ore Mountains. I learn a lot about food and skill sharing, getting together as a collective to escape from the capitalistic society we life in. Thinking outside the box where consumption, services and other things, that keep us from being happy, are being pushed aside.

I’m happy to learn new things and help wherever I can :)

As a side fact, I'm a Christian and part of a lovely church community. I try to life my faith as best as I can and love some good old fashion worship time.
Humor is a big part of my life, I love people with a great sense of humor and there’s no better medicine than laughing.
I would like to learn some new card or board games, always down for it.
