Description
My name is Sara, I’m 22 years old and currently living in the Netherlands, where I’m pursuing my master’s in philosophy. I would describe myself as easygoing and always happy for an adventure. At the same time, I also appreciate quiet moments to, reflect (on life), and unwind.
In my free time from my studies I like to play tennis, go for a run, go swimming, go on a walk to think, knit, or spent time with my roomates or friends.
I believe that traveling offers a true perspective on life and different ways of living. That’s exactly why I became interested in Workaways—engaging in a completely new environment and exploring different ways of living.
In 2022 I studied in Italy for 6 months. I enjoyed this so much and really miss being there. This is why I am drawn to workaways in Italy this summer specifically.

I enjoy cleaning—it gives me a sense of peace and satisfaction.
I have experience with babysitting for a few years. Also, I worked at a garden center, which has given me a (very) basic understanding of plants and greenery. Additionally, I am currently teaching Dutch to a non-Dutch speaker, which has not only helped me develop my communication skills but also deepened my understanding of language learning.
Even though I am not the greatest cook you will ever meet, I do like to cook and spent time in the kitchen.
