Description

Hey :) We are Chrissi (24) and Lou (23) from Germany, Berlin.

We arrived in New Zealand in March 2023 on the working-holiday-visa which allows us to travel this beautiful country within a year.

We are very interested in mostly every kind of outdoorsy activities. Mostly hinhing and biking (sadly we don’t have bikes yet). Next to that we are both very interested in photography and sustainable living. After New Zealand we plan on continuing travelling (maybe some countries in South America or hiking the PCT) but step by step. New Zealand first :)

Chrissi has worked as a raftguide for 3 seasons and has travelled a lot discovering different lifestyles and living in communities. Before we came here she has worked as a kitchen assistant in Switzerland for half a year. Chrissi is very curious about outdoorgear and minimalism. Back in Germany she wants to educate herself in (sustainable) outdoorgear.

Lou has finished her studies in social work in 2023 and has worked a lot with children and homeless people. Next to that she ist drawing/ illustrating, doing screen and linoleum printing, sewing and wants to try mostly everything creativ (pottery f.e.).

We met in 2020 both working voluntarily at an shelter for homeless people. We got to know each other working together, during one lockdown after another, living together for two years and now travelling in a camper van. We are definitely a very good team :)

As we are an LGBTIQ* couple it’s very important for us to be hosted by people who respect us and in places without discrimination in general.
