Hello! I’m 19 years old with a mixed ethnic background of English/Guatemalan. I’ve just begun my gap year on a shoestring budget but that hasn’t bothered me yet. I’m just happy to be meeting the world! I’ve worked a range of jobs back in England so feel free to ask about my experience. I’ve also spent a large part of my teen years living on my family’s homestead so am no stranger to farm work. Life in Guatemala has embedded a sense of gratitude for the little things and appreciation for family and community. I’m up for anything but really enjoy swimming, surfing, playing pool, cards, hiking, reading and good conversation.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I’ve been working since I was 15 and have always tried to find jobs in new sectors to keep myself invested in what I was doing. I’ve worked in a bakery, behind bars, pot washing, waiting on tables, shifting boxes in a warehouse and cleaning hotel rooms for a local brewery. Those were for money, but while at home on my family’s smallholding I help out with garden chores. Planting, weeding etc. I also take my turn cooking meals for the family. I initially focused on STEM topics in school but have in recent years spent more time studying design. After completing a year long Art & Design Degree last year I will begin a Product Design Technology Bachelors next September back in England.
