Hi! I’m Riccardo, I’m 26 and I’m from Italy. I studied Political Science for Development and International Cooperation in Rome, but most of what I’ve learned in recent years has come from traveling and meeting people along the way.

I’m a very curious person and I love getting to know cultures different from my own. In the last few years I had the chance to travel in many countryes, like India and Japan, two places that really marked me and pushed me even more to step out of my comfort zone, adapt, observe and learn. I enjoy slow travel, everyday life, simple routines and meaningful conversations with locals.

I don’t mind hard work at all and I’m always happy to help wherever I’m needed. I like being useful and learning by doing. I love traveling, discovering new places, and I usually have a book in my backpack. I’m open-minded, respectful and easy-going.

I have a strong interest in music and I’m currently developing my music production skills, something that really helps me express myself and connect with others beyond language. Music is a big part of my daily life and I love sharing it, discovering new sounds and influences from different cultures.

I’m on Workaway because I’m looking for cultural exchange and the chance to be part of a community. I want to learn through everyday life, contribute in a meaningful way and grow both personally and creatively while meeting people from all over the world.

I speak italian and english.
I worked for a few months in a little hardware store, and I can easily help with manual work and do some simple repairs.
I also participated in fundraising events for poor people in my city.
