I study sustainability. I am motivated by trying to work on solving societal issues. I love working on projects that I feel have an impact. In my life, I try to do both small-scale volunteer projects and pursue a career to have as big an impact as possible. I love being in nature, which is my way to relax and reconnect.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

One of us grew up on a small farm, feeding the animals (horses, chicken, birds and lovely small sheep). That is where Lasse love for nature from. We are both really hard workers. We are kind of determined to achieve something good with our careers, so we have always worked hard in studies and side jobs. We are social and good communicators. We are Dutch, so we are quite conditioned to follow strict plannings :) which we guess can be helpful. But we can also be flexible, especially in terms of the type of work we are asked to do, we are not picky and don't really value physical comfort. We both have some experience with planting things, Lasse with trees (he planted thousands of trees for a charity project) and Rachel with plants and grasses at a volunteer restoration project. We both have more experience with volunteer work. Lasse has taught Dutch to a class of asylum seekers for a semester.

We like outdoors things, reading, meditating, and one of us likes playing games. The other secretly does as well but doesn't want to admit it.
