Hi, my name is Bill and I recently updated my profile from a couple to a single Workawayer as I was recently widowed from my wife Kristy who lost her battle of breast cancer this year.

Because of her first round of cancer some eight years ago, we got the courage to quit life and travel the world. Our adventure has taken us to some 24 countries together where we were fortunate to make many new friends and enjoy the various cultures that make our world so special. We were living on the island of Gozo in Malta and loved every day of this unique experience. We did Workaways in the Philippines, Thailand, and Malta.

I am a youthful 65 years old and have an extensive background in management, sales & marketing, customer service, team building, athletics, and education. I hold a BS degree in Animal Husbandry, a 120 HR TEFL certification, Military Veteran (USNR - Builder), and have traveled Internationally to 44 countries so far. I have been to all 50 states and even owned my own restaurant for 10+ years. I enjoy meeting new people, photography and video (including editing), cooking, and adventure. I am experienced as a builder with skill sets in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, tile, walls, painting, etc. I am definitely opened to learning new systems and challenge myself to achieve success in my ventures. I played international basketball in Australia in the 80's and have coached sports at different levels.
I hold a Padi Divemaster certification and definitely enjoy the other world below the surface.

I am retiring this fall and hold dual citizenship with both the United States and Ireland. I made a promise to Kristy to continue our travels through the world and spread a little bit if her ashes in each place. We plan to post our experiences through video, photo, and writing on our travel blog called NOMAD INSIDE ME http://nomadinsideme.com.

We would like to hear from you as to how we can help. We traveled for 2 years (2018 & 2019) doing some Workaways before settling in Malta. We moved back to the USA to help a former employer with property management needs, Our commitment ends in January, 2022. We are now preparing to seek opportunities to immerse in people and culture as we travel this amazing world of ours. We love meeting new people, helping where we can, and learning from the diversity of culture and sharing skill sets. We have a committed work ethic and can be trusted to complete all tasks at hand.
