Hello everyone!

I'm Angie (Ángeles) from Patagonia, Argentina. Currently, I live and work in El Calafate, a small town famous for its glaciers and stunning natural landscapes in Southern Patagonia. Here, I work as a horseback riding guide, leading excursions through the Patagonian steppe and sharing the local environment, history, and culture with visitors from around the world.

Working closely with horses has become one of the most rewarding experiences of my life, and I am always eager to continue learning about horsemanship, animal welfare, ranch life, and horse training.

Before moving to El Calafate, I spent several years working in tourism and hospitality in Península Valdés, one of the most unique wildlife destinations in Patagonia and home to one of the largest Magellanic penguin colonies in the world. During the penguin season, I managed a restaurant and coordinated tourist visits on a traditional Patagonian ranch located far from urban centers, developing strong organizational, customer service, and teamwork skills.

I enjoy slow travel and meaningful cultural exchanges. Rather than rushing from place to place, I prefer spending time in one location, becoming part of the daily routine, learning local traditions, sharing meals, and experiencing authentic ways of life.

Throughout my travels and work experiences, I have gained practical skills in hospitality, guest services, gardening, farming tasks, basic construction, maintenance work, and animal care. I enjoy physical work, being outdoors, and learning by doing.

People usually describe me as responsible, adaptable, easy-going, and hardworking. I love nature, mountains, animals, and outdoor activities. I'm not much of a party person, but I enjoy sharing conversations, music, good food, and meaningful moments with people from different cultures.

I'm always excited to learn new skills, contribute to interesting projects, and connect with people who are passionate about what they do.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

- Manage logistics and hosting tourist.
- I studied antropology orientated in nutrition and health.
- Native Spanish/ Intermediate English (and improving)
- Cooking is one of my biggest pasions, not matter if is for one person or for a big groups with diferent diets. I love to learn new tecnics, flavors, dishes, etc.
- Agriculture knowledge: at home we always had a vegetable plot that my grandpa started years ago.
I had prepear the ground, plant, prepear organics fertilizer. For tree years i been in charge of the care & maintenance, until i left town. And continue doing that in the Italian farm.
- Take care of a house in general. I lived and took care of an big old house (from 1900).
Cleaning, basic electricity knowledge, gardening, take care of the dogs and cats, etc.
