Right now I am really looking to start as a primary school teacher. I am learning Portuguese and Italian, and I'd like to start learning Arabic :). I'm interested in bioconstruction and farming.

Description

Hi! My name is Sienna and I'm a French-Australian student currently studying a masters online and starting out as a primary school teacher. I am looking to discover different educational contexts to learn from more experienced teachers and communities, and to see where I help best. I am drawn to all alternative pedagogies (Montessori, Steiner, Reggio Emilia), and most recently, I've started to read Paulo Freire. While I have read a lot, I have only two months experience responsable for a class.
I like to read, travel, and learn new languages. I enjoy and value working hard, especially in a community. Active, strenghening or nature work is my favourite, outside of education. I like to learn almost anything and hope to pass this on in my teaching. One day I dream of teaching in or opening a rural school.

English is my native language, I speak French and Spanish fluently. I have a lot of experience babysitting and tutoring kids ages 3-12. I am also in good health and can help with general household or garden tasks.
