Hello!
I'm Blake and I grew up in the beautiful state of Colorado in the US. I was raised in a family of mountain loving skiers, so my appreciation for adventure and the outdoors began at a young age. I've always had a passion for exploring the globe, and living in new locations. I've done a lot of volunteering on farms all over the place starting from Oahu, Hawaii and beyond... Nothing beats being paid in fresh vegetables and working with your friends everyday!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Blake - I enjoy work that allows me to exercise my creativity like marketing, and also work that gets me outside like landscaping and farming. I've had a variety of different jobs in these areas. I worked for landscaping companies throughout high school and college, some residential and others commercial. I've done projects like tree planting, building retaining walls, installing sprinkler systems, and mulching. Also more commercial maintenance like mowing lawns, and weed whacking. This taught me how to work hard and get things done efficiently. In Hawaii I worked for a place called Ko Farms where I did a lot of weeding and gathering produce for custom orders. I've also been digital marketing for a few years now doing some graphic design work, developing marketing campaigns, and doing some social media management. I'd love to have my own company one day maybe selling products from our little farm!

I love rock climbing, hiking, skateboarding, skiing, and watersports. One of my favorite hobbies is pickling foods! I also love reading fantasy stories and also memoirs and learning about other people's life stories.

We had an amazing 5 weeks with this family getting to experience life on the countryside in the Czech Republic. We would have loved to extend our stay, but unfortunately our visas were close to expiring so we had to say goodbye.
