Hey,

I'm Pauline, 20 years old from Germany currently living and working in Hamburg. Last year I went to Canada for 8 months and had such good experiences with Workaway. So this year I decided to explore Europe a bit more especially France. I had French class in school but I forgot a lot so now I wanna practice my French while taking a break from the city life, reconnect with nature and start exploring again.

If I had to describe myself I would say I'm cheerful, positive, patient and easy-going.
Moreover, I would consider myself to be a social and caring person who is resourceful, a team player but also capable of working independently. It is important to me to respect every person regardless of their personal background, interests, looks and meet everyone with a positive and curious mind.

Good talks in the evening while drinking tea and philosophizing make me happy as well as sitting still and watching a sunset, its the small things and details in life I enjoy. Furthermore, I love animals and working or cuddling with them. One of my biggest hobbies is cooking and trying out new dishes from all over the world. In the past years, doing Yoga became more and more part of my everyday life. Doing puzzles, bouldering with friends, finding cute cafés, thrifting, plant care and hiking are some other activities I love doing in my free time.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I went to school for 13 years and speak German, English and a little bit of French.
I play the piano since grade 1, tried some dancing and I love to cook. I enjoy redecorating and renovating my room and caring for my houseplants and my dog. I do yoga, like to go for a run or do horseback riding from time to time.
I managed an airbnb during my stay in Canada for some weeks, did quite an amount of babysitting and had some insights in a program for people with dementia and brain injuries.
After that I also lived and worked on a small farm, chopped some wood and planted so many tomato plants I can't even count, so I'm definitely not afraid to get my hands dirty, try new things and learn new skills.
