Hi! I’m Paulien,
A beach loving, dog cuddling Dutch pilgrim with an open heart and a strong work ethic.
In 2024 I walked my first Camino to Santiago de Compostella. That was life-changing.
I traded comfort for curiosity. Said goodbye to my house and job, got rid of almost all my possesions and embraced a life built on freedom, new experiences and personal growth.
The past year I traveled trough Nepal, Spain and Sweden. In Nepal I did my Yoga Teacher Training and besides my own yogapratice I love to improve my training skills.
I worked a couple of months as a volunteer in different albergues among the Camino del Norte in Spain. Did several house- and dogssits in the Netherlands and worked at an amazing place in Sweden.
I love getting things done. Whether it’s rolling up my sleeves for physical work, diving into creative projects or simply showing up for a meaningful chats. Before this chapter I worked as a social worker and I’m a psychosocial therapist. I bring empathy, a splash of humor and an open mind wherever I go. You’ll find me happiest outdoors, hiking, swim in the ocean or soaking up a golden sunset. -
