Hi,

I am paula, I am from Vienna and twenty years old. Two years ago I already did some workaway after school - once staying with a family in valencia and also in a garden project in the north of Spain. It was a very joyful experience for me and I would love to do it again.

I am a very outgoing and open person and enjoy meeting new people. At the moment I am studying political science in vienna and working as a journalist. Also I love being creative - especially creative writing like poetry or short stories. Besides I play the guitar and have fun doing sports - mostly voleyball and hiking.

I love spending time with others - whether it‘s just talking, playing games or partying. I would be very happy to participate in a project together with others and support wherever I can and gain new knowledge. Especially in Spanish I would love to improve my language skills.

As I am a german native speaker born in Austria and have experience in teaching german to beginners, I am happy to offer german lessons. I also speak english fluently on a C1 level and can teach it as well. I've been learning spanish in school and improving it now at university on a B1+ level. I would be really happy if we could improve our language skills together :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

writing & social media
- since I am studying political science and working as a journalist I have lots of experience in writing. when I was 14 years old I joined fridays for future austria and was a climate activist for many years. My political engagement brought me to an extensive understanding of public relations work: as a spokesperson, in organizing press conferences, in writing press releases and keeping contact with media. therefore I also have some experience in working with social media. maybe I can help somewhere with these skills :)

babysitting
- for some time I've taken care of two siblings aged 3-6. I really enjoyed spending time with them and love taking care of kids in general.

social contact with guests
- I would describe myself as an outgoing and social person. it's easy for me to connect with new people and I enjoy to make others feel like home. therefore I can imagine myself welcoming guests or helping as part of the staff.

teaching language
- my first workaway experience was with a family in valencia, cleaning the house, cooking and learning german with the children. I really enjoyed all of it, and felt like I could really help as a "german teacher".
