Description
Hey there,
My name is Pablo, from Germany (I know its not the most typical name for a German hahaha). I am currently 19 years old. 2 Years ago i finished highschool in Germany and right after that hopped on a plane to Nepal. Not the most popular country for your first travel experience but somehow it felt right. And it absolutely was. I stayed there for 7 months, working as a english and history teacher volunteer at a rural school. This experience really opened the world for me. And made me realize all the breathtaking adventures and incredible people to meet out there. So after returning i set out for my next trip. To latin america. The last 4 months i have seen Guatemala, Colombia, Peru and Brazil and am absolutely in love with this continent and its people. But i realized that for the time i have left here i want to stay in one place and really get to know it deeply. Thats why i decided it would be a good idea to do volunteering.
People that know me would say im a very relaxed and calm person, often engaging in deep philosophical conversations about this world and life. But in the right environment i have limitless amounts of energy and take everyone around with me. My biggest joy in travelling comes from meeting people, sharing our views on this life with each other, making unforgettable memories, and friends for life.
What im looking for is a place to feel home with people around that feel like family, a great team where everybody supports each other. I am very interested and open for all kinds of new experiences but what i really want to try is working at a hostel!

I love learning new languages and also teaching them. As i believe the best person to teach a language is somebody who had to learn it themselves.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
In my opinion, for most things in life, age doesnt really matter. In my case the only thing it influenced is the amount of time i have had until now to gather experience. But I think I used my time quite well.
The most experience in any work I have is in teaching, especially languages. I taught english for 7 months in nepal and for 2 weeks in Rio de janeiro. But this also influences other things. It made me really good at organising myself and groups, talking to an audience, improvising if youre lost, making fast and effective decisions, ...
The interest in teaching languages comes from a fascination for this topic in general. I love learning and speaking new languages. So far i speak English and German fluently, Spanish and French on a very good level and some Portguese.
Speaking all of these languages helps me with another thing im good at. Meeting and talking to people. I have met an insane amount of new people on my travels so far (as i always travel solo). I can get along with and talk to ANYONE. No matter if small talk or deep conversation.
A more specific skill i posses is related to art. I have been engaging with art, mostly drawing, my whole life. I have even designed a motto and artwork for our graduation from high school and organized a group of people to paint it in really big format on our schools wall. Its really one of my biggest passions.
In the end I want to add that whatever it might be that is required from me I would love to have the chance to learn it and expand my skills and experiences. Im a very fast learning and adaptable person. So if you put your trust in me you will not be dissapointed!
