My name is Priscila, I am 38 years old and I am from São Paulo, Brazil.
I am fulfilling my life's greatest dream: traveling around the world for a year (through Oceania and Asia).
I love traveling and meeting new people and new cultures. Traveling is expanding our horizons, our experiences. Traveling is nourishing our existence. I love connecting with people and their culture.
I am very open-minded, a lover of nature, silence (absence of urban noise). I love hiking, taking waterfall baths, going to the beach and watching the sunrise and sunset.
I am excited about this possibility of experiences through workaway and helping people, I truly believe in community life and mutual support. I feel happy to be a part of it!
I really like to talk and I know that language can be a barrier many times, but I like challenges and I will use technology to get closer to people and make real, deep and fun connections.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

At 33 years old (after 17 years working in aviation), I graduated in physiotherapy and developed my care for others in a deeper and more delicate way. During the pandemic, I swapped the plane for the Intensive Care Unit at the largest public hospital in Latin America (Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo). Through physiotherapy, I also studied Pilates and reflexology.

I like to take care of people, pay attention, share my time, be a good listener and transform simple moments into special moments by appreciating the present.

At the same time, I have a studio in my house where I work with different types of crafts such as crochet and embroidery. I am creative, I learn quickly and I also enjoy teaching, I believe that knowledge shared is knowledge shared.

My native language is Portuguese, I communicate well in Spanish (intermediate level) and I want to improve my English, I understand more than I speak.

I like nature and prioritize this contact whenever I have the opportunity. Where I live, I don't have space to have pets, but I love animals and I love Faísca (my family's dog in one of the photos on my profile).

I'm a practical person who makes quick and assertive decisions. I like to "get my hands dirty" (as we say here in Brazil), which is to consolidate what I've learned.
I lived alone for a long time and I developed a taste for organizing things and places in the house in general. I also like to cook and the kitchen is my favorite part of my house, where I gather friends and enjoy good meals with good company.

I am very happy to step out of my comfort zone and achieve something that I have always wanted. I am grateful for anyone who involves me in their daily lives so that I can help them and learn new skills and ways of thinking from them. I am excited for the new experiences that may come my way.
