Actuellement, nous sommes

Description

We are an adventurous couple looking to expand our horizons through volunteering whilst traveling. We both have a love for nature and animals, having both worked in animal welfare and rescue for many years. We have taken the decision to quit our jobs and sell our van to explore some more of the world! Both of us have travelled and experienced workways before and love the opportunity to get involved in a project and meet new people. We are both very hard working and love the opportunity to learn something new. We look forward to meeting and working with you! :)

I (Oscar) enjoyed learning some Spanish in my previous travels although I will be very rusty now! But would be very keen to learn some more if the opportunity arises and hopefully teach English in return to anyone who may be interested.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

-I have considerable experience in animal care as I have worked in the animal care industry for most of my professional career.
-I am hands on and good with general construction/DIY. This is a skill I have learned from various parts of my life but construction of animal enclosures has been a big part of this as well as my time fitting wood burning stoves.
-I have good computer skills, this improved considerable for me over my university degree.
-I have good interpersonal and teamwork skills. I am very able to engage with others from different backgrounds and cultures, a skill that has developed through my role as an education assistant as well general life!
-I am a very hard worker. When a job needs doing, I will constantly work to the best of my ability to help get the task done. I don't tire easily and am happy to pick up slack if others are struggling.
-Finally, I am always keen to learn. I truly enjoy learning from people and growing new skills.

As I have mentioned, I have many loves and I am happy in a range of environments in a range of activates, so long as the people I am around are kind and good people. I am happy to go out and work hard or do activities and equally happy to stay in and play games or help cook or look after children.
