Hi, I'm Orla! I'm currently a student at the University of Edinburgh studying Spanish and Politics. I'm looking to do something meaningful with my time over the summer, eager to learn new skills and join a wonderful community!

I speak fluent English, intermediate Spanish, and some French. I'd love the opportunity to improve on my language skills by meeting other learners or native speakers.

I like to think that I could be described as creative, outgoing, and courageous.

I think learning languages is such a fun challenge! It's a great tool for travelling and I've found that learning other languages has allowed me to connect with people on a new level. Also, I have previously taught English in a language school, and have a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) qualification.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Thanks to my previous experience teaching English in Casablaca, I have the ability to effortlessly adapt to different or unexpected situations, as well as connect with students with different ages, needs, and learing styles.

Additionally, I have extensive hospitality and customer service experience. From this experience, I learned strong interpersonal and communication skills, proper food hygiene standards, and how to accommodate large groups and groups with children.

Also, I have basic knowledge of gardening and agriculture due to previous workaways.

More than anything, I believe my most valuable skill is open-mindedness and eagerness to learn new skills.
