Description

I am a college 20 year old student here in the Netherlands looking for a place to stay and work during my stay abroad. I love meeting and interacting with new people although I am a bit shy and reluctant to talk about myself. I'm studying to get my Bachelor's degree in teaching English, so going abroad is a part of my education.

I am good with children and also used to work as a babysitter when I was in my teens, I'm very independent and have no issues with being alone or taking care of myself and I'm also hardworking. I've been working parttime next to school since I was 13 and work as a shift leader at my current job, so I work with teens quite often too.

I'm fine with animals as I have 3 cats myself, however most hooved animals (horses, cows, goats etc.) scare me a bit, so I wouldn't be ideal there.

Outside of work and school I like going on adventures, I often take a train to go somewhere for a day usually a bigger city in the Netherlands and walk around for a bit looking at the people and local cultures within in the city. I enjoy music too, I love going to concerts and festivals.

I'm a very artistic person too, I like drawing and using different materials for my drawings. I usually draw portraits and I would like to learn how to draw comics to maybe do as a second profession next to teaching once I graduate.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Since I am studying to be a teacher I'm very helpful, I can help with homework of all sorts and know how to work with children from ages 11 to 16.

I'm no stranger to doing DIY work, I helped both my parents (they're divorced) with remodelling their new homes. I did things like painting, sanding surfaces, building furniture etc.

I can cook relatively well, I wouldn't say my meals are exceptional, but I can put a nice meal on the table.

I don't have many hobbies, I like making art and I play handball in my down time. Sometimes I play some games online and offline, that might be Genshin Impact, Sims 4, Dungeons and Dragons, so, mostly roleplaying games.

I'm a huge sciencefiction fan, so anything Marvel, Star Wars or fantasy related is right up my alley!
