Description

I am a very social and outgoing person with an eminent sense of intercultural understanding. I have studied and worked abroad before on multiple occasions.

At the age of 32 I have decided to take a gap year and use the opportunity to embark on new adventures through volunteer work. I am mainly looking for projects in the Portuguese speaking world, due to the reason that I have a bachelor degree in Brazilian Portuguese.

I am very interested in volunteer work in the field of social work, hospitality and nursing.

I am driven by meaningful work and care for the individual and it always reflects in how I work and interact with people.

I have worked within public administration for the last couple of years but recently did a career switch to work in a retirement home for elderly people.

I am available in the following languages: English 🇺🇸 Portuguese 🇧🇷/🇵🇹 Danish (my native language) 🇩🇰 and Finnish (my second language at home) 🇫🇮 and Swedish 🇸🇪

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have earlier in my career worked in the Danish government (different ministries) so I am highly qualified and familiar with administrative tasks and processes.

When it comes to volunteer work, I have worked within AFS Interculture as a volunteer taking care of activities and camps for young teenage exchange students from all over the world.

I have also work as an assistant teacher for immigrants and asylum seekers in Finland where I used my intercultural knowledge to teach and help the students.

I am also very creative and used these competencies when I was in high school where I worked as an afternoon art teacher for primary school pupils.

Recently I have chosen to work at a facility for elderly people where my duties are personal care and help with daily routines.
