Description

What makes us happiest is being around people and sharing experiences together. On our journey through Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, we love meeting new people, learning new things, and being part of everyday life wherever we stay.

Nele really enjoys spending time with children and bringing energy and fun through games, activities, or her acrobatics skills. Baking and cooking are also things she loves – especially when she can share food and create a warm atmosphere.
She is creative, social, and curious, and feels most fulfilled when she can help out, connect with others, and discover new ways of living. She also really enjoys having animals around her (especially cats, dogs, and horses), and she is always open to new adventures!
Nele has always loved being active – doing sports, camping, hiking, and spending time in nature have been a big part of her life for as long as she can remember.

Titus really enjoys spending time with children and is always happy to join in with games and activities. He has a big passion for games of all kinds – whether it’s board games, card games, or computer games – and loves sharing this enthusiasm with others.
He also enjoys reading, cooking, and having good conversations about almost anything, from everyday life to new ideas and experiences. Sports are another important part of his life, especially soccer, which he has played and followed since childhood, also as a coach.
Titus is curious, open-minded, and social, and he feels most at home when he can connect with people, learn something new, and contribute in a positive way.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Nele lived for six months in the English-speaking part of Canada and recently graduated from a bilingual (English/German) senior high school in Germany. She gained practical experience in
gastronomy by working several months in the kitchen of a traditional German beergarden. She also has strong organizational and coaching abilities through working as a children’s gymnastics coach. Nele brings extensive general knowledge in household management, cleaning and childcare gained through seven years of experience as a babysitter for several ages. She demonstrated reliability, independence and commitment by completing multiple hands-on internships.

Titus also recently graduated from a bilingual (English/German) secondary school with the german Abitur (university entrance qualification). He gained Catering Experience in a traditional german beer garden as a busser for several months. He also has strong social abilities and teaching skills as a football coach and caretaker at multiple vacation games, bike and canoetours. Titus builds a broad spectrum of knowledge to multiple internships in different fields ranging from politician to Carpenter.

We both used HelpX for the past two months and already worked at two different stays (homestay and farmstay ) with happy hosts.

Nele loves practicing and teaching gymnastics and acrobatics, having trained in acrobatics for six years in Germany. She also has eight years of experience as a babysitter, giving her a lot of hands-on experience with children. Nele is a proud older sister to two younger siblings and holds an international driver’s license. Additionally, she has a lifeguard certificate and has been swimming for over ten years.

Titus has worked as a soccer coach for a year and has been helping with holiday games and activities for children since he was ten. He is passionate about games of all kinds, especially Magic: The Gathering, Splatoon, Catan, and a unique game called Blood on the Clocktower, which he would love to teach you. While he does not have a driver’s license, he also holds a lifeguard certificate and enjoys swimming just like Nele.

Together, we have several months of experience working in a German beer garden, giving us practical knowledge in hospitality and customer service.
