Description
I am an international environmental educator, currently taking a career break after working for United World Colleges as a teacher and leader for 20 + years. I am. 58 year old married man with grown -up children. I have lots of energy and sense of fun and adventure and will be travelling on my own for a few months before resuming work again...maybe:)
Interested in working for sustainability projects in Northern Italy (especially the Dolomites) as I want to learn Italian and get to know this area properly. Will also want to work back in the UK (my home country at some stage).
Skills in Permaculture gardening, working with children, general outdoor work but of course happy to join in with household chores and maintenance too. I am no skilled tradesman but used to constructing fences, painting, pruning trees, etc. I love working outside.
My most recent project at school was designing and planting a Myawaki -method Micro forest and running a Permaculture garden for 30 teenagers to gain these skills.

I am a teacher of Ecology and Geography to high school age children and have many 20+ years working with practical biodoversity conservation projects in schools. I have managed tree nurseries and permaculture gardens for students.
I have two grown-up children who are now studying, so have time for a career break.
