Hello! My name is Naoya from Japan!

[My motivation]
I am now studying in Boston to get my master's degree in international politics.
I would like to work away in the summer of 2025, live in other parts of the U.S., and experience a different American life from what I am experiencing now in Boston since I have a long summer break between the first year and second year of my program,

[My experience]
I have ridden and taken care of horses since I was 10, so I am used to farm-related work. I was a jumper when I was riding horses on a daily basis, but I am now riding horses a few times a year just for fun.
I lived with a host family in Missouri for a year when I was 18. (My host family and I are still close! They are my second family.) Thanks to this experience, I have become accustomed to living with a host family, and I was able to improve my English.

[About myself]
I am quite optimistic about everything. I like to read, eat, exercise, and try new things.
During my free time, I am into running these days, including trail running. My goal is to qualify for the Boston Marathon in 2026!

I would like to learn real-life English, which I cannot learn on campus. Even though I can communicate in English fully, I still need some work to speak naturally like a native speaker. By immersing myself in life with an American family, I would like to improve my English speaking. My mother tongue is Japanese, and I am willing to teach Japanese if desired!
