This year I’ve decided to travel, meet new people, and give a hand wherever I can.
I’m Naïga, I'm 24 yo French woman, and I’ve always traveled between the mountains and rivers of my homeland. But as my dreams grow bigger, so does my desire to explore further! I’ve tried different sports, and now I want to practice them in a new landscape, discover different ways of life, and get closer to animals. :)
The English I learned in school gives me a good foundation, and I’m working on improving it so I can have deeper and more meaningful conversations.
Being outdoors just feels right to me. I love living close to nature, taking care of animals, and working with my hands, whether it’s on the farm, on the trails.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

By spending so much time outdoors for work or pleasure, I've learnt a thing or two.

° Observation and environmental knowledge __ I started by spending time in nature, learning to recognize trees, birds, and animal tracks.
° Outdoor guiding __ I trained and qualified as a hiking and mountain biking guide, turning my passion for the outdoors.
° __ I did volunteer work observing migrating birds, developing patience and attention to detail.
° Animal care and farming __ I helped on farms, working in the fields and taking care of goats and bee while learning from experienced farmers.
° Hospitality and teamwork __ I worked in restaurants, both at the bar and in the dining room, enjoying the contact with people.
° Adaptability and independence __ I lived and worked in mountain restaurants or farming, sometimes with a small team and sometimes completely on my own for months.

Now I'm discovering mushing and I think I've found a way of life and work that suits me. Sledding, skiing with dogs, sleeping in a lavvu alone in the middle of nowhere...
