Description

I am Muzaffer, originally from Istanbul, Turkey. But my new way of life is just not to stay in any single atmosphere more then needs. So, I am currently in Edinburgh, the city in which I am lover of, and exploring new places in United Kingdom. Also I would like to visit Ireland until the June 2024.

I am a history student in University of Edinburgh, so I am highly interested in cultural explorings. But, from my point of view, culture is not only so-called "cultural" things like music, art, literature, and so on, which are what we call as "high culture". Culture includes every practise, skill, and feeling, that every humanbeing in a society has. So, I am not only focusing on museum trips, but also meeting new worlds and observe these elements.

I like photography, and I have a little photograph machine. Also I like to make unregular and random nature trips like just walking on the green plains of Scotland and saying hello to some farms, or if I am lucky, some abandoned castles.

I trust myself in cooking skills, as much as I trust the cousine of my country (Turkey).

On the other hand, I like the interaction with animals, especially with horses since I have experience with them and also have a Arab horse named Inci (pearl in Turkish).

My native language is Turkish, also I know English and a bit Kazakh. But learning new langauges is so admirable to me. Even though some people avoid themselves from this, I like to ask people's ethnic/cultural background and some questions about their language, culture, family, or interesting features of their society.

I can teach Turkish perfectly, because I have experience with it and I trust myself. Also I can teach you English, too. I would be happy to learn different languages as well, as I mentioned on my bio too. If the hosts are interested in teaching their native languages, it will be a better chance to me.
