Hi, my name is Monika and I am from a small town in Slovakia. I have always love to travel since my childhood, we used to travel with my family to seaside in Europe, mostly to Croatia, or to the nature, because Slovakia has beautiful nature with views, mountains, lakes, castles. I have travelled only to europian countries so far but this year for the first time I have been to Asia - Japan and I would like to continue discovering new places and to see the world. So traveling has a top place in my heart. The next top place has volunteering, I have been volunteering since primary school, mostly with the younger kids in creative family events or I helped them with school stuff, later I used to volunteer in child hospital during my studies at university in psychology field. I had the opportunity to try exchange erasmus study programme in Norway where I spent a beautiful half a year and where I met many open minded people from all of the world, I am grateful for this experience, it was life changing. I had been working as a school psychologist for almost 5 years and I am currently volunteering in NGO with main focus on adults with drug addictions and sex workers, many of them are homeless, I have been volunteering there for 2 years now. The next top place in my heart is art, I can spend hours in galleries but I also admire art of everyday lives, beauty of nature and I like to enjoy little things in my life and I am happy to be able to see these little things, this is happiness for me. I am a very positive, open minded, creative, friendly and loving person with a big capacity of love...people or animals, I love to learn new things from different areas, explore places, cultures and their food. My hobbies are swimming, painting, dancing, walking in nature, doing something creative, spending time with my friends, animals, reading or just relaxing in quiet place . I am ready for another chapter and adventure in my life and I am open to work in different field and gain new experiences.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I mentioned in my profile description before I had been working as a school psychologist with main focus on children but also adults, my expertise is in working with people from different backgrounds and people with disabilities, I can help to learn and I am very good listener and I try to provide a good advice. I have experiences in organising and helping in creative events and creating materials, painting but also in customer service in cinema and in providing materials and non-invasive treatment like wound care for homeless people and others in need. I am very good swimmer and I enjoy physical work too, something diffrent from mental work which I had a lot, I have two brothers so helping with cleaning, laundry, kitchen or garden was mostly my chore. I used to took care of dogs, cats but I am okay with all kind of animals I think. I am very patient observer who can learn quickly so I am open to try diffrent type of works and gain new skills.

I am a big fan of card games, board games, activity or any kind of games, even hide and seek. I am into creative stuff, swimming, art, I like to watch movies -comedy, history, romance, fantasy, travel, dance, animations and read these types of books. I would like to be better at team sports and I set a goal to myself to try and do something over my limit and overcome my fears every year.
