Hi there! I'm Mona, from Belgium.

I love adventure, discovering new places, cultures and meeting new people. I like to listen to others and to learn about their experiences and their outlook on life. Right now I'm taking a gap year between my bachelor and masters to travel, find new pasions, learn and share skills and create connections. I know that there is so much more to learn about the world and its people than I know now. I'm excited to take this chance and see where it can take me.

I would describe myself as an extraverted introvert, who's curious, creative and spontaneous. I usually observe my surroundings for a while before I open up. But once I do I’ll feel at home right away. I’m easy going and able to connect with a lot of different types of people. I’m compassioned, openminded and a mediator. Topics that interest me most are culture, film, art, music, human rights, environment, history, gender and psychology.

I love cooking, baking and eating together. I'm always down to explore new cuisines. Painting and drawing is something I do a lot and want to persue more in the future. I write a lot on my blog, in my journal or some poems. I have a real passion for music and dancing. I go to concerts, festivals and parties quite a lot and have also worked for two festivals before. I'm not extremely musically talented myself but I play a bit of bass guitar and sing from time to time. ;) I'd love to support artist in their journey. Dancing is one of my biggest passions in life. I've practiced all kinds like contemporary dance, vogueing, bachata and pole dance. I also have some experience with yoga and meditation


The happiest I would be when I can connect to people on a deeper level and when I'm making an impact on their lives.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm someone who's eager to work, to develop skills, to lend a hand. I pick up things easily and with excitement. I mostly love working with people and for people. I see work even if it isn’t included in my tasks.

With a bachelor degree in communications, I a lot have skills in this field. I'm able to create marketing or social media campaigns for your company or project. I have some experience with film and photography. I'm really good at creating a certain aesthetic. I'm also good at face-to-face communication with customers. I love making people feel welcome and at home. My biggest assets are my language and writing skills. I have an own blog where I document my thoughts as well as a lot of experience with copywriting.

I can help you with general maintance, cleaing, hospitality, sales etc. I have a lot of experience working in cafés, bars and clothing shops. I also helped out with two music festivals so I know a thing or two about eventmanagement, production and administration.

I'd love to help out with arts, diy or crafts. I can paint your walls, furniture, design posters, etc. I'm also good at cooking and gardening. Would love to know more about natural raw materials, fruits and vegetables, herbs, farming.
