Description

I'm Mona from Germany. I am completing my master's degree in health management in December 2023. I already completed my bachelor's degree in health management in 2018 and worked as a health coach during my studies. After my bachelor's degree, I had already been in Canada for 9 months, from March to December 2019. During this time I travelled on my own through British Columbia, Alberta, the Yukon, through Alaska and in the end through the south west of the USA in a self-built minivan. Between my big trips, I worked on a ranch in Kamloops and a lodge in Golden, BC. I loved working at the ranch and lodge because there is always something to do. I am a person who likes to be useful and open to any kind of work.

Back in Germany I worked for two years in customer service and then started my master's degree at the end of 2021. In addition to my master's degree, I have worked continuously in digital marketing...
Since I came back from Canada I have missed the wilderness and the nature very much and it was clear to me that I would like to go back to Canada again.

My great desire is to live and work in one place for several months in Canada and experience all the seasons. I would also like to experience the challenge of the Canadian winter. I made this experience and worked for three great months in Carcross, Yukon from January - April 2024.
I love being out there, taking on new challenges and experiencing new adventures. In the last few years I have satisfied the longing for Canada with some trips to Scandinavia. Either on foot with a tent or with a van. I love the quiet nordic nature and outdoors.

About my person:
I am an open-minded, courageous, easy-going person who likes to try new things, meet new people and gather adventures and experiences for life. I am a sociable person, but can also be very good alone. I live very sporty and healthy. I like to be outside in nature and love to hike and do yoga. I like to cook, bake and like to make my own trekking food. And i just like to work with people and help people. I like to learn new things from other people and learn more about other cultures and way of lifes.

I am currently at a workaway in Robert’s Creek at the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia and I am looking for a paid position from June/ July to September/ October in BC.

I still have a valid work visa.
