Hello! We're Will and Molly, a nature-loving couple from England. We're passionate travellers seeking meaningful experiences that combine our love for the environment with cultural exchange.
We both studied Biology at university and met whilst scuba-diving in Croatia on a research expedition, connecting due to our shared interest of marine ecosystems. Together we enjoy rock climbing, hiking, yoga, and golf (pretty much anything that involves being outdoors)! We also love a good board game!
Over the last few years we have worked, whilst travelling, in France, Mexico, Thailand and Croatia.
We recently completed the Camino De Santiago, walking 1000km across the width of Spain. Now, we are travelling Australia for 3 months, before heading to New Zealand for a year or more! Then we have plans to travel back through South-East Asia, we are so excited about the workaway adventures that await us!


About Will:
• SSI Divemaster and Snowboard Instructor
• BSc in Biology with a focus in ecology
• Experience in organic farming including operating heavy machinery (tractors, drills)
• Practical skills involve woodwork, painting/decorating, landscaping, forest management
• Experience working with animals
• Keen photographer
• Drivers licence and power boat level 2 licence

About Molly:
• BSc in Biology with a focus on ecology
• Background in wildlife monitoring and field research
• Experience in social media content creation/marketing and admin-based work
• Experience working with animals
• Experience teaching children in both sport and science
• Plant science and farming knowledge

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Will:
• I have over a years experience working as a painter and decorator on exteriors and interiors.
• Working on a farm, I have acquired skills such as woodworking, operating heavy machinery (tractors, chainsaws, drills), planting crops, looking after plants, landscaping, fencing, looking after animals and forest management.
• Over a years experience working as a bartender and waiter. Trained in cellar management and was in charge of the social media marketing for the pub.
• SSI Divemaster with first aid and oxygen administration qualification. Over 150 logged dives, with experience leading research dives and guiding expeditions.
• BASI level 2 Snowboard Instructor, taught a variety of people how to snowboard, from beginner to advanced lessons, conducting snowboarding classes for trainee instructors in both freestyle and technical riding.

Molly:
• Over 4 years experience volunteering for NGOs, helping redistribute food industry surplus to shelters, food banks, and schools. This included assisting in food deliveries as well as sorting and managing food intake in the warehouse.
• A years experience as a secretary and social media manager for a society. This involved designing informative posts, admin-based tasks (emails, bookings, proposals) and coordinating events. Further social media work in creating posts and videos for a conservation organisation.
• PADI Scuba-diver, with practice on research dives, measuring and observing sea urchins and fish.
• Teaching knowledge - coaching under 8 year olds hockey and giving lectures to high school students about marine life.
• Skilled at looking after animals as well as wildlife monitoring, shown by research projects on pipistrelle bats and sea urchins.
• Knowledge from university on sustainable farming practices, green biotechnology and plant interactions.
• Proficient at technology, computer skills in Excel and coding in R.
• CPR and first aid certified.
• NICAS level 3 qualified rock climber.
