Hi! I'm Mira from germany. I'm currently doing a gap year and want to explore the world.
I love to travel and meet people from different cultures. In my free time I like to spend time with my friends, read (mostly fantasy) books and watch movies and series. Dancing and climbing brings me great joy as well. I would love to get to know the world better by visiting places I've never been to. I hope to learn a lot of new things about myself and the world in order to figure out where my place is in it. I want to try out different things and jobs, get out of my comfort zone, meet a lot of people and I'm excited to make new friends from all around the world ;)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have always been talented in organisation, usually being the one making all the plans in my friendgroup and taking care of everyone. I'm a peoples person, I love striking conversations with people, hearing them out, listening to any problems they might have and working towards a solution together.

My natural inclination to plan things out and make sure everyone is prepared and set have motivated me to work as a secretary of an environment-planning company, gaining experience in assisting and supporting the people around me. I mostly did all the paperwork, sorting and organising it, as well as digitalising it, which I enjoyed a great deal.

Taking care of plants has brought me a lot of joy lately; I simply love watching them grow. We have a huge garden as well, so I also have some experience with gardening. Along with that I have a passion for animals. I’ve always wanted cats, but I had to settle for rabbits in the garden. I love those nontheless. Due to numerous petsitting jobs for friends I'm also familiar with other typical pets and able to properly take care of them.

For me, languages have always been very fascinating. I speak fluent German, English and a little bit of French. I learned a great deal from chatting online. Talking with people from all around the world improved my communication skills as well as my English. Recently I started to learn Korean, because their writing system caught my interest as it is very structured and fun to learn. I intend to further my Korean skills and hope to become fluent one day through language courses and working in a Korean environment, learning the language through first hand experience.
