Hi there,
my name is Mira, I am 25 years old, currently staying in New Zealand and travelling to Australia soon.
I don't usually talk that much about myself but here we go :D
I have always dreamt about travelling the world one day so after having finished my studies in physiotherapy, I decided it was about time to finally start doing so.
Since then, I've been solo backpacking Southeast Asia and traveling through the stunning landscapes of New Zealand for one and a half years, meeting some incredibly inspiring people and learning a lot about many different cultures and places. That time also gave me the opportunity to volunteer on various farms and animal rescue projects, which has been an incredible experience. Currently, I'm trying to learn everything I can about wildlife conservation efforts all over the world as my travels have reminded me of the wonders of the natural world that we need to protect, now more than ever.
I have always been an outdoorsy person, feeling very connected to animals and nature and enjoying every minute I get to spend exploring my surroundings.
As you might have guessed I would rather call myself an introvert, but I am also an easy-going, open minded person who loves to meet new people and hear their stories as well as dive into different cultures.
Other than that, in my free time I enjoy climbing and hiking, horseback riding, surfing, photography, arts or simply reading a good book.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I can help with anything from gardening and odd jobs around the house over renovating, painting and light maintenance tasks. Also happy to learn any useful skills that might be needed at the time!
As I've volunteered on various farms, I have some experience in farm work and am not afraid of physically damanding jobs.
I am particularly interested in animal care, conservation and wildlife rehabilitation. Jobs I have done in that field include cleaning enclosures, preparing food, feeding and handling animals and treating minor wounds, and I am eager to build more knowledge and practical skills.
I am also happy to cook vegetarian meals for the team and like to try new recipes from time to time :D
