Description

I studied oceanography and I'm deeply in love with the ocean, animals, and the outdoors , swimming and being in or near water is where I feel most like myself. I'm curious by nature and love learning, which is part of why I'm now doing a Master's in Food, Health and Environment in Vercelli, Italy, working toward a future in biotechnology.

I speak Spanish and English fluently, and intermediate Italian. I currently also work as an English teacher, so if you're learning English (or want to practice), I'd love to do a language exchange. I also enjoy cooking, especially Mexican food.

Outside of work and studies, you'll find me painting, dancing, and always looking to learn something new — surfing is next on my list. I did a Workaway in Hawaii and it was one of the best experiences of my life, which is part of why I keep coming back to this way of traveling and meeting people.

I know how hard work is , how much or how little I have, I've earned it through my own effort, and I'm proud of it. I'm open to meeting new people and new experiences, building genuine friendships and sharing cultures with the people I travel and work alongside.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm someone who loves hands-on work and being outdoors. I can help with gardening, and I have experience in house remodeling, especially painting. I've also worked physically in other jobs, painting and waitressing, so I'm no stranger to long days and hard work.

I'm currently an English teacher, so I have teaching experience and a lot of patience. Right now I'm learning Italian too, which is very important to me since I live in Italy.

I'm good with animals and I love them deeply. I have a huge love for the sea, being near the ocean genuinely makes me happy. I'm very good at cooking and baking; I make some of the best tacos, piña colada, and Mexican desserts and pastries you'll try, along with Italian and Chinese dishes. As a good Mexican, I also have a good sense of humor and love to laugh.

I love exercising and have practiced pilates and yoga for years. I'm currently living in Italy, where I'm doing full time research for my master's thesis in Food, Health and Environment. So between studying, teaching online classes, and learning Italian, my days are full, but I still make time for the things I love: cooking, moving my body, being close to nature and the sea, and spending time with friends.
