Hi!
We are Janina and Millie, we are from London and are 19 and 18 years old. We've been best friends since childhood. We are both very social and friendly people, we love animals and children. We are most excited to learn about new cultures and languages and immerse ourselves in the daily life of a new community. We love to explore nature and try new things! We look forward to meeting you.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We both have lots of experience working with children. We have both worked as nannies for the past 2 years - with children of ages ranging from 2-14. This nannying work has also involved tutoring children, helping with reading, learning and homework. We enjoy spending time with children playing and enriching their learning.
We are both very passionate about nature, conservation and sustainable practices. Janina has worked in a community garden in The Gambia developing sustainable irrigation systems using plastic bottles and other recycled materials. We are both keen to develop our knowledge of farming and nature. We look forward to learning from you about local wildlife.
We are both very adaptable. We are happy to take on any task you would like us to - we want to learn new skills. We are also very interested in learning about other cultures and family life - we really want to participate in local life and community. We are fun and friendly and we are looking for a host who will help us be immersed in community life.

We like card games, such as spoons, we want to teach you our games and you can teach us yours. We love to sit around and chat in the evenings. We are not very good at sports but we like to participate and have fun. We enjoy walking - especially in the bush. We both have pets and like to spend time with animals. We enjoy reading and music. We like to swim, and explore. Most importantly, we want to have a fun time!
