Hi! I’m Michael from Toronto, Canada. I’m an open-minded, respectful, and easygoing person who enjoys meeting new people, learning new skills, and experiencing different lifestyles and cultures.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been staying with a Workaway host on Vancouver Island, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in sustainable living, gardening, weeding, composting, property maintenance, harvesting, general farm work, and caring for the land. Living in a close-knit community has been one of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had, and it has given me a genuine appreciation for outdoor work, simple living, and contributing to meaningful projects.

I joined Workaway because I wanted to travel with purpose, contribute to inspiring environments, and step away from the fast-paced city lifestyle for a while. I'm especially drawn to farms, eco-projects, hostels, retreats, community living, and places where people genuinely connect, collaborate, and support one another.

Professionally, I bring over 10 years of experience in business operations, customer service, project coordination, and leadership across multiple industries in India. More recently, I spent four years in Toronto working as a Digital Account Strategist, managing Google Ads campaigns and helping businesses grow through digital marketing and data-driven strategies.

Alongside my travels, I'm living as a digital nomad while building my own technology platform. This journey has strengthened my creativity, adaptability, problem-solving skills, and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.

I'm happy to help wherever needed—whether it's farm work, gardening, guest support, organizing, cleaning, maintenance, creative problem-solving, digital marketing, website improvements, photography, social media, or general day-to-day tasks. I enjoy learning new skills and always bring a positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to contribute.

People usually describe me as calm, dependable, hardworking, positive, and easy to work with. I value open communication, respect for shared spaces, taking initiative, and leaving every place a little better than I found it.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, nature walks, fitness, music, photography, meaningful conversations, road trips, exploring local communities, and learning from people with different backgrounds and experiences.

At this stage of my journey, I'm looking for opportunities where I can contribute genuinely, continue learning practical skills, connect with inspiring people, and create meaningful memories while making a positive impact on the places and communities I become part of.

I’m a reliable, adaptable, and hardworking person who enjoys learning new skills and helping wherever needed. My experience includes customer service, hospitality, digital marketing, business operations, event support, and general hands-on tasks.

I’m also currently working on a tech project focused on local discovery and community experiences.

I’m comfortable with outdoor work, gardening, property upkeep, cleaning, organizing, and basic farm chores. I’m physically active, a fast learner, and enjoy nature, teamwork, and community environments.
