Hej!
My name is Micara, I’m 19 years old and I’m from Germany, more exactly from Bremen. I love travelling and discovering the world and I also want to gain experience in different kinds of jobs and areas. That’s why I think Workaway is a great opportunity to learn new things, meet people and see new places.

I really enjoy working outdoors, being in nature and spending time with animals or children. In my free time, I love knitting, crocheting, hiking and cycling. I feel comfortable both in busy cities and in quiet places surrounded by nature. After my travels, I plan to start training to become a pilot, as I’m very interested in aviation and in general in science and technology (STEM fields).

I'm excited about all the new experiences ahead and creating great memories!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

At school, I was part of the Sustainability Club, where we worked on eco-friendly projects and learned about environmental responsibility. I also participated in several STEM competitions, which helped me develop problem-solving and teamwork skills.

I’m used to cooking at home and have often prepared meals for my family, so I feel confident in the kitchen. I also know how to manage a household and take care of daily tasks like cleaning, organizing and doing laundry.

Additionally, I have worked in the hospitality industry in my home country, so I’m familiar with restaurant service and working with guests.
